Does anyone have a RECENT, verified as working email address for Emisora
Pio XII on 5952khz? Their website lists contact information but no email
address and searching for QSL information, nothing recently posted in the
last few years includes an email address. Any email address I find is quite
a few years old.

Their call sign is listed as CP60 or CP160 in several places and I don't
see that in my WRTH book

thanks in advance

Not only is WRMI back on 9395 kHz with about 100 watts, but WRMI 9455 just
reappeared in the last half hour(2215-2245UTC 9/13). 9395 appeared sometime
yesterday afternoon/evening. 9455 and 9395 are simulcasting. I think 9455
might be running a bit more power then 9395, not sure how much

It is super weak, but I have The Voice Of Vietnam in English on 12019khz
via their 100kw transmitter in Hanoi. The carrier actually seems to be
around 12019.3.

I can't really make out the speech except to tell it's there. I did
recognize the cheesy outdated 70s news theme music and intro theme music
for the VOV Letter Box Program

** CUBA. 11760, Sept 13 at 1300, RHC QSY announcement, 6100 closing and 15370
until 1500: but at 1301, 6100 is still running along with 6060 but not 6000; no
15370 yet but 15230 is on; finally at 1303, 15370 on with OC and 6100 off
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** PERU. 5980, Sept 13 at 2332, JBA carrier from R. Chaski until autocutoff at
2334:04.5*, which is 53.5 seconds later than last catch 8 nights ago, Sept 5
until 2333:11*, averaging 6.69 seconds later per, slippage right on
``schedule`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** SRI LANKA. 15430, Sept 13 at 1408, fair signal with flutter, DW ID in
passing, SW Asian language. HFCC shows Pashto, 125 kW, 335 degrees via
Trincomalee. Not much else is propagating from outside NAm on 19m, nor did I
have enough signal from 15505 Bangladesh to detect its mis-timesignal circa
1400 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** TIBET [non]. 15528, Sept 13 at 1340, JBA carrier, presumed Voice of Tibet
via TAJIKISTAN on characteristic split (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 9395, Sept 13 at 0557, WRMI still on only here with Oldies at S6-S5.
In a FB reply, Jeff said only 100 watts on exciter.

9395, Sept 13 at 1305, music, 1307 familiar ad, but 1309 music and still music
at 1334 so not `The Power Hour`. WRMI still doesn`t have internet restored
which is how much programming arrives. Satellite dishes might also be askew. At
1410, again music not // VP 13845 WWCR with `TPH`.

9455, Sept 13 at 2331, WRMI restored on this frequency, sounds like full power
at S9+20 with music, Oldies? Not // 9395 music which is still very weak at S4.
At 0015 Sept 14, now // with Oldies.

9955, Sept 13 at 2337, WRMI also restored here with Radio Libertad at full
strength S9+10 about equal to the jamming; by 0015 Sept 14 recheck, now S9+20
and jamming is off in deference to inconsequential gospel huxter in Spanish. At
neither time are any other frequencies back yet, on 5, 7, or 11 MHz bands
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

Latest WRMI FB posts in reverse order:

``2330 UTC Wednesday, September 13, 2017 - 9955 kHz is now on the air with full
power! It will transmit 24 hours per day with regular programming.

And yes, our engineers are working very hard here, almost around the clock, to
get things back on the air. A big pat on the back to Pat Travers, our facility
manager; Don Frish, our senior transmitter engineer; and other staff members
Russell Zigler, Denny Williams, Javier Garcia and Thais White

2040 UTC Wednesday, September 13, 2017 - Our frequency of 9455 kHz has just
gone on the air. It will carry regular programming 24 hours a day. 9395 kHz is
already on with low power.

1600 UTC Wednesday, September 13 - Our electricity has just returned here at
WRMI Okeechobee. Our engineers are in the antenna field repairing damage to the
transmission lines, and we hope to have one or two frequencies back on the air
by the end of today, in addition to our low-power broadcast on 9395 kHz`` (via
Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 1895 monitoring: Wed Sept 13 at 2119, WBCQ
7490.04v-AM is still playing last week`s 1894. JBA signal so I have to strain
to hear it for 5 minutes before recognizing Romania, Sikkim items from last
week.

So real first SW broadcast of 1895 is confirmed Wed Sept 13 at 2330 on WBCQ
9330.03v-CUSB, fair S6-S8. WRMI power restored already Sept 13, not including
internet access yet, but we have until Sat 2300 to get WOR 1895 to Okeechobee
before they will need it. Next:

** U S A. 1030, Sept 13 at 0606 UT, `Red Eye Radio` opening hour, plugging
flagship WBAP. Only 1030 RER affil listed in new NRC AM Log is: KFAY,
Farmington AR, address in FAYetteville, 6/1 kW U4. Not far, but not often heard
here, especially in nightmiddle. Night pattern is circle tangent SW, away from
Boston, so we are very much on the edge of it (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING
