** ANGUILLA. 6090, UT Wed Aug 29 at 0141, CariBeacon is back on with PMS,
having missed its 2-day-a-week broadcasts on UT Mon & Tue, so making up for
that? (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** BRAZIL. 11780 RF, Aug 29 at 0133, RNA is back in whack in AM here,
ex-11686-FM all afternoon and evening yesterday (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING
DIGEST)

** CUBA. 6000, Aug 28 at 0607, RHC English is very undermodulated here and
somewhat distorted, while 6165 is as soft but not distorted; 6100 is JBA, and
6060 is very good strength and modulation. So at least one of them is working.
Something`s always wrong at RHC.

6000, UT Wed Aug 29 at 0142, just as Arnie is ending mit-week edition of `DXers
Unlimited`, RHC English is just barely modulated here, somewhat louder on //
6165. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 4765, Aug 29 at 0143, R. Progreso is off, while 5025 & 5040 remain on;
by 0349, 4765 is back on but undermodulated, S9+10/20 about same level as 5025
Rebelde, but which is better modulated. Something`s always wrong at RadioCuba
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 13899, 13831, 13766, 13634, 13567, 13501, 13434, approx. frequencies
of extremely distorted FM spurblobs out of the 13700-AM transmitter, August 28
at 1328, so RHC-FM has been reactivated at ~67 kHz intervals, first time heard
in about a month. Helps that fundamental is extremely strong at S9+30/40. All
including 13700 still have that F# tone above C middle, and only the tone can
be detected at the furthest ones out. The four closest and very strong ones are
quite readable with FM tuning. Recheck at 1320, just a trace at 13634 & 13766,
tho 13700 is still S9+30. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WORLD OF RADIO 1945, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** NIGERIA. 7255-, Aug 28 at 0605, VON is finally back on, with the bigsig
Hausa hour, S9+20; had not been heard for at least a dekaday (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WORLD OF RADIO 1945, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 1944 monitoring: presumed final play on
WRMI, Tuesday August 28 at 2030 on 5950 and 7780 not checked here, but Mark
Coady in Ontario says 7780 was ``extremely weak``.

WORLD OF RADIO 1945 contents: Anguilla, Antarctica, Australia and non, Bhutan,
Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Colombia, Cuba and non, Europe, Germany, India,
Indonesia, Mauritania, Netherlands non, Nigeria and non, Norway, Per?, Russia,
S?o Tom?, Solomon Islands, Spain, USA, unidentified, propagation outlook

WOR 1945 ready for first airing Tuesday August 28 at 2130 on WRMI 5950, and
this week I am barely able to confirm it, checked at 2156. Not confirmed Tue
Aug 28 at 2330 on WBCQ, as BS played on. Next:

Wed 1030 WRMI 5950 to WNW
Wed 2100 WBCQ 7490v to WSW
Wed 2100.5 WRMI 9955 to SSE

Sat 2130 WBCQ 9330v to WSW [maybe, or 2330?]
Sun 0310v WA0RCR 1860-AM ND
Sun 1030 HLR 9485-CUSB to WSW
Sun 2130 WRMI 7780 to NE
Sun 2330 WBCQ 9330v to WSW [maybe]

Mon 0330 WRMI 9955 to SSE
Mon 0400 WRMI webcast only, non-direxional
Mon 2330 WBCQ 9330v to WSW [maybe]
Tue 0030 WRMI 7730 to WNW
Tue 2030 WRMI 7780 to NE, 5950 to WNW [or #1946?]
Tue 2130 WRMI 5950 to WNW [or #1946?]

Full schedule for WOR on all outlets, not just SW; podcast linx:
http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 7490v, UT Wed Aug 29 at 0140, WBCQ is off, as apparently since at
least August 25, Blalock the Blaster is no longer running daily at 0100. Except
UT Thu will probably still run Hal Turner instead (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX
LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 5129.83, UT Wed Aug 29 at 0146, this WBCQ has been turned on for
presumed `Amateur Radio Roundtable` with W5KUB, but too far down in the noise
to copy; while 5085, WTWW-2 is inbooming with another ham show. It`s no
accident, as when W5KUB pulled off WTWW, Ted retaliated by putting his own QSO
show on at the same time ~45 kHz away. Unfortunately, QSO wins by strength, but
ARR also has a video webcast. Otherwise, 5130- is now off most of the time with
no more BS (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

This report dispatched at 0516 UT August 29
