may have been missing again for 2300 English, or I just missed their
closing. BTW there is another station even more on the minus side of
5960 which comes on later, Kuwait scheduled from 0200 (Glenn Hauser,

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2009 monitoring: on IRRS 7290 via
UTwente SDR, confirmed Monday November 25 cutting on in progress at
1900:23 as I am starting to recite the KNLS schedule, which occurs
about 1:20 into the program; therefore the playback started close to
1859! Altho the big carrier came on air at *1856, almost muscling
aside the CRI ACI, it remained silent, no A?da, no ID, no IRRS
sign-on, no news, cutting on modulation with WOR already running, just
as has been happening for the past two or three weeks. Anyhow there is
no doubt it`s on the air today. Via Romania? Ivo Ivanov in neighboring
Bulgaria maintains it is; but does not refute Alexander Busneag`s
analysis that there is no spare transmitter available at that time in
Romania.
At 1928 I check 7290 here in OK, and detect a JBA carrier. But Harold
Frodge, Midland MI was able to get more last week: ``ROMANIA: 7290,
IRRS (presumed); 1902, 11/18; Glenn Hauser?s World of Radio. Poor with
occasional fair peak in the QRN + co-channel QRM. No co-channel
candidates in the List Log Lists, so probably hamsters`` (The 7290
area is prime hangout for American hams running AM instead of LSB.)
Also confirmed UT Tuesday Nov 26 at 0115 the 0100 on WRMI 7780, S9-S7.

but CHU noted on
3330even S=9+20dB string in remote MA US state location,
time pips and annmt in French and English.
BRAZIL More than fair S=8-9 signal
4885.028 kHz Radio Clube do Para ZYG362 PA at 03.37 UT on Nov 27
and compared positively check to MW AM 690 kHz livestream
on wwweb: http://www.radioclubedopara.com.br/radio/#
latter livestream was 18 seconds behind shortwave net signal.
USA 3215 kHz strange carrier ONLY (WWCR?) signal at 03.13-03.16 UT as
S=9+25dB strong in remote SDR at Cape Canaveral Florida, some buzz signal
visible on screen - some 18 strings - like a garden fence,
on 60, 360, 720, 1080 Hertz ... visible {and heard} on both sidebands.
CUBA 5040 kHz RHC Bauta Spanish TOTALLY DISTORTED
HISSING audio feed signal, 03.46 UT, S=9+15dB in C.C. Florida,
7.6 kHz wideband outlet tonight. Similar distorted RHC English from
Quivican TITAN site
5999.994 kHz TOTALLY OVERMODULATED S=9+35dB in MA US state east coast.
14 kHz wideband at 04.03 UT.
"Cuban Council Of Churches" theme.
TURKEY 7265.004 kHz TRT Emirler in Spanish, S=9+25dB or -54dBm strength,
10.4 kHz wide at 02.33 UT,
most modern mx played originate from Spain and Turkey. And same \\ TRT
Spanish also on nearby
7280.005 kHz S=8 or -74dBm little less strong.
6125.005 TRT Emirler in English at 04.13 UT on Nov 27, Turkish folk singer
on guitar performance too, S=9+10dB at 04.14 UT, noted on remote MA US state
SDR rx remotedly. 50 Hertz buzz string visible either sideband.
At same time slot heard
IRAN 7380.002 VoIRIB Zahedan in Arabic on southern azimuth backlobe
of weak and tiny S=7 or -77dBm strength at 02.41 UT on Nov 27.

Nothing heard here in NB today (26 November) at 22:00 UTC. Down again or a
propagation thing? Website says it's up but it could have gone down after
civil servants in Ottawa went home for the day.
