I'm guessing the song is popular in Vietnam. When I was there(courtesy US Army) in 1966-67, I happened to attend a rock concert at a theater, and heard a Vietnamese band playing and singing "Love Potion #9" in English. I don?t think they spoke much English, as they mispronounced a lot of words to the point where some lyrics sounded to me like a mumble. Of course San Jos?, where KSJX is located, is home to a very large Vietnamese community.
