CUBA [and non]. 6000, April 10 at 0546, RHC English VG, only
frequency still on, except for harmonic 12000, S7 at 0555. Longtime //
6165 seems gone for good: At 0256, it`s the TRT IS instead prior to
its English not for us but Asia, and its higher pitch chirps tinkle
ACI against WBCQ dead air on 6160-. Previously 9700 seemed to be RHC`s
replacement but that`s not on at 0300 either (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
CUBA. 11670, April 10 at 1515, RHC Spanish is S9+5/10, maybe atop
Spain? which starts at 1500 weekdays. This RHC frequency of course is
normally tarde-only. Mistake for 11760? That and 15140 are both AWOL,
nominally the only midday channels. Something`s always wrong at RHC

KURDISTAN [non]. 17470 & 17480, April 10 at 1513, two signals
around here again imply Deng? Welat and ``Radio Recep`` jammer are
failing to coincide, so why bother? 17480 is stroonger with S5/S8
talk. April 9 Aoki presents as if there be an exact frequency rotation
oddball sked for DW, while jammer stay on 17480:

distortion and breakups, S8/9+10 into Bonaire SDR.
Tnx to tip from Lucas Bandura, BC in the WOR iog at 2318 April 10:
``Organizaci?n Radial El Prado 6016.68 kHz --- The Colombian pirate is
back on the air; it had been over a month since I last heard this
station. Listening on the Bonaire KiwiSDR, S9. At tune in 2248 UT,
there was little or no modulation. At 2304 some buzzing and the
modulation started. The music is very distorted and is cutting in and
out. The op spoke briefly at 2317 with lots of feedback.``
At 0125 I get it direct on 6016.685, but only a JBA carrier (Glenn

Bonaire SDR. Must be reactivated Alcarav?n Radio as Rafael Rodr?guez
R., QSL manager had said would soon happen after 6010, LV de tu
Conciencia. Now there is a much weaker signal on 6010, not LVC? Maybe
same transmitter now trying 5910. Announcement at 0059 but no ID
caught; 0104 about historia de Colombia.
Meanwhile, this from RRR at 0030: ``Emisoras Campa?a de Fuerza de Paz
- Colombia para Cristo AL AIRE! Hi Dx friends, After almost 5 years
off the air and an effort led by Martin Ste[n]dal, today the three
signals originating from Lomalinda, Puerto Lleras, Meta are active:
1530 kHz, 5910 kHz and 6010 kHz. Monitoring and reports are
appreciated and will be confirmed with eQSL. Reports to

At 0124 I found 5910- better direct, S8/S9 with music, than via
Bonaire with its local noise problem. At 0125 there seemed to be two
weak signals beating on 6010, Brasil & Colombia? 0304, 5910 in
preaching segment citing Matthew XXIV; music at 0405; still 0627 S8/S9
direct while 6010 is S8/S9 but softer with not // music. 5910 is a
good clear frequency this A-season, nothing else on it but Romania in
the Colombian daytime, 1430-1957 UT (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** KURDISTAN [non]. 17460, April 11 at 1524, music and this time the
only signal below 17490. Maybe both Denge Welat and Turkish jammer are
coinciding again. 17455, April 11 at 1857, JBA signal only here under
the 17450 area whine - maybe both stations, can`t tell (Glenn Hauser,

** MEXICO. 6185, April 11 at 0631, XEPPM again in dead air, S9/+10,

S9+40 into UTwente, somewhat overmodulated/distorted. Something`s
always erroneous at Emirler. Usual s/on with partial English sked not
including this one, OM with news. 2212.5-2213.7 barely more than a
minute of `Review of the Turkish Press`. 2214 std salute to foreign
search & rescue teams, music. 2218.5 `Weekly Commentary` penned by
Simon Fisher[sp?], PhD candidate somewhere, about the impact of AI,
read by the YL with horrible accent until 2231. I defy any native
speaker of English to follow, understand her. She could polish her
speech if she ever listened to VOA. Or if it was ``penned``, trouble
reading his handwriting? 2231 multi-lingual ID filler reel, music.
2243 `Turkey`s Geomarked Products` about quince, Turkish Delight
recipe. 2245 music. 2248 every hour TRT with you promo. 2253 s/off as
if this were one of those four other broadcasts. Something`s always
awry at Ankara. 2254.6 IS plays a few times, chopped off at 2255.7
before it can lead into German. Why do I keep monitoring this? Despite
critiques, grateful it`s one of few countries left broadcasting

S9+10/20. Incredibly, this is the strongest signal on band = SSOB,
supposedly aimed 140 degrees from SMG toward Ethiopia. Another example
of off-target coverage by this site: maybe accidentally aimed
backwards toward us at 320 degrees; or back-radiation not suppressed
at all. 15565 runs from 1530 to 1830 in a variety of languages, 250 kW
with azimuth changes depending on the particular African destination.
Several other Eurosigs on 19m much weaker, not to mention NAmsigs on

UNIDENTIFIED. 6225 CW, April 11 at 0632, exactly 24 beeps per minute,
