That would be Pan American Broadcasting, a.k.a. Radio Africa (toward S America)
as on WRMI 17790 at 15-21, so WRMI extended, or another site? Not on WRMI grid.

** CUBA. 15140, Sept 28 at 15140, RHC is JBA into NH; at 1832 no
signal detected, boding ill for English at 19-20 but busy with WOR did
not get around to rechecking. The Other Side:

``READ TODAY THE CUBA OF TOMORROW September 25, 2023 RUSSIA-UKRAINE
WAR -- Havana is involved in Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and this is
the evidence
'Cuba is not part of the war in Ukraine,' claims the MINREX, but
events over the last year and a half show otherwise.

** KURDISTAN [non]. 11535, Sept 28 at 1506, JBA carrier, only signal
below 11620 and above 11500. Likely current radio war channel between
Recep`s Turkey jammer and Deng? Gel, presumably via Uzbekistan.
However, EiBi shows Sound of Hope, Taiwan, long hours on 11535.2 but
no jammer; did not seem to be off-frequency. But SOH also in Aoki as
*jammed on 11535 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2210)

** TURKEY. 11785.009, Sept 28 at 2158, VOT English not off the air
today, ex-11785.003, so different transmitters? But poor only S7/S8
into UTwente instead of blasting. 2200 timesignal at least 8 sex fast,
even more considering internet delay. Something`s always erroneous at
Emirler, Awry at Ankara (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2209 monitoring: confirmed UT
Thursday September 28 at 0030 on WRMI 9395, S9/+10 into Maryland SDR.

NOT confirmed UT Thu Sept 28 at 0100 new time on WRMI 9955, as
confirmed for first time last week, already gone, replaced by `Antena
DX` from Panam?. Tsk2, it`s up against another Spanish DX program,
`Frecuencia al D?a` at same time on 5010.

Skedgrid has already been updated, but now shows another *new* airing
for WOR, Friday at 2200 on 9955: hope that can be confirmed, and stix
as would become first SW airing of new editions.

Confirmed UT Thursday September 28 at 0130 on WRMI 9395, S9+10/18 into
Maryland remote:

Also confirmed on WRMI 5010, S9/+12 into Bonaire SDR.

Also confirmed Thursday September 28 at 1423 the new 1400 on WRMI
9955, poor S4/S7 direct but no jamming audible; last SW repeat in
weekly cycle.

** U S A. From Dr Hj Biener: ```Dear Glenn, I just copied your weekly
Digest and found this item of interest:

``230921 [and non]. WRMI 9955 schedule: since I was not hearing any
jamming vs WORLD OF RADIO at 0100 UT Thu Sept 21, I took a look at the
System B skedgrid to see just when jamming would now be ``necessary``
--- and see NO obviously Cuban exile programs on it any more. There
used to be a weeknightly strip at 6 or 7 pm ET, Radio Libertad, was
it? Gone. Maybe for a while, as not included on the outdated Aoki
entries for 9955. [...] What about the Programming page? No exile
programs there either. What happened to them? At least there is still
Radio Rep?blica on RMI via France 9490 and jammed (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WORLD OF RADIO 2209)``

Looking at WRMI schedules that I downloaded 230103 and 230218:
230103 Radio Libertad is listed at the System B schedule at Mo-Fr
1900-2000 h ET
230218 Radio Libertad is not listed at the System B schedule any more.
Instead we find religious and DX related programmes at Mo-Fr 1900-2000
h ET.
Interestingly, both System B schedules are listed as ?Effective
October 31, 2022?

Thus for the record we can conclude that this exile customer left the
station in early 2023. According to my files Radio Libertad has been
the only Cuban exile broadcaster using broker services of Radio Miami
International (beside Radio Rep?blica) since about 2017/18. The
website https://www.radio-libertad.org/
is still there and provides a distorted stream.

Kind regards, Hj. (Dr Hansjoerg Biener)``` (via Glenn Hauser, WORLD OF
RADIO 2210)

** U S A. 5130.233, Sept 28 at 1533, WBCQ Trumpmitter is JBA daytime
into nearby NH SDR; inaudible into Maryland (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 7505, Sept 28 at 0650, S9+40 open carrier, no doubt WRNO:
about to expand to all-night again? Or forgot to turn off after 0400
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2210)

UNIDENTIFIED. 17790, Sept 28 at 0212, gospel huxter in English about
anti-Christ, S9/+10 into Utah SDR; 0230 switch to another with no ID;
off at 0303 check, so closing ID if any missed. Following this thread
on the WOR iog:

Andy Reid, Ont. at 0104: ``I am hearing something on 17790 that was on
well before 0100. Singing or chanting. Some vocal. No trace of the
BBC.``

Walt Salmaniw, BC, at 0131: ``Call To Worship by the Zion Chapel is
the name of the program. Very strong into Masset. Then into Welcome to
Bible Adventures with an Australian accented announcer at 0130.
Transmitter hum is noted (not loud, but there) Walt``

Walt at 0201: ``At 0200 an ID: "You are listening to Radio PanAm".
Huhh? Walt``

I, gh, reply at 0205: ``That would be Pan American Broadcasting,
a.k.a. Radio Africa (toward S America) as on WRMI 17790 at 15-21, so
WRMI extended, or another site? Not on WRMI grid. Glenn``

Wolfgang Bueschel: ``test of B23 season request channel?``

Kenneth Vito Zichi, MI: ``I've noted WRMI on 'early' and playing their
typical 'pop/rock' oldies BEFORE Pan America programming comes on.

15770 is also nominally 24 hours but obviously propagation doesn't
allow it to be heard such in any one place even if they are on the
air.

I think Jeff W likes to experiment and although I'm sure it isn't
'cheap', apparently the power bills to run a SW transmitter either
aren't as bad as so many would like to imply or it is 'worth it' for
him?

I'm still amazed that so many people who identify as 'broadcasters'
seem to have nothing nice to say about the medium and appear to only
wish it a speedy death. That makes little sense to me. 73. //Ken Z``

17790 I check again next day Sept 28 at 2230 into Utah SDR and
UTwente: no signal, nor circa 0030 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO
2210)

** VANUATU. 7260, Sept 28 circa 0650, RV is JBA but can perceive some
modulation. Checking via Brisbane remote, Tony Rogers reported
yesterday its 7260 and 3945 channels were on but with dead air (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2210)

This report despatched at 0147 UT September 29
