Well, this mail is coming in a bit too late.
It was nice catching this last night. The personal messages to staff over
there in the dark 24 hrs a day were cute.
They didn't use 7255 kHz from UAE. Only Woofferton and Ascension.
Very strong and clear here in Paris on all 3 frequencies.
The 11685 kHz transmitter went off the air for 30 seconds or so, someone
had to push the breaker in I guess ;-)

Heard the stationstarting on 2129 with just carrier and continued with the BBC
program on 2130zwith an interview between YL and man on how he took the job for
that place. Sometalks on the food raw fresh and frozen used also some outdoor
sounds ?
?All frequencies in Litohoron Mt ?Olymp were heard? in the clear
9585? with signal 51/25 in the PL330? radio
9820 same level
11685 better at 65/25with higher QSB
Heard for around 10 minuteand continued my band search After 22z all

checking the WRMI skedgrids in case a WOR time be deleted, or added: I
do find a new one for Saturdays 0930 UT on 9455. This is at 285
degrees = WNW for western N America, not too far off our azimuth from
Okee about 315. Since I strive to remain sound asleep at that hour,
ASAP almost 6 hours ahead, I asked the WOR group for someone to
confirm that, if they are already awake at 0930: not a single reply.
285 carries on across the Pacific, aimed right at Honolulu, by
coincidence? and then Majuro, Port Moresby, Kununurra, so I wonder if
there be sufficient reception in Australia or SE Asia. Local times:
Honolulu 2330, Majuro 2130, Port Moresby 1930, Kununurra 1730.
Confirmed UT Saturday June 22 at 0400 on WTWW 5085, VG direct; S9/+10
into NH SDR; S9+20/40 into Missouri SDR. Had been signing off at 0400*
other nights but still extended for WOR. Previous program wasn`t
finished but faded down by 0359 for ID and WOR. As usual, a bit of
music followed at 0429 until chopoff circa 0430* with no formal ID or
s/off.

** U S A. Saturday June 22, I`m not up and checking DXMAP until 1530
UT when I see a huge mess of sporadic E FM DX lines across
central/eastern USA with MUF above 100 MHz. So I hasten to check on
the DX-398 inside:
94.5 at 1534, ad mentioning the beach, ``Q-94`` non ID; RDS shows
SABRINA_, later FEATHER_, i.e. music refs, not ID. So it is:
WRVQ 94.5 RICHMOND VA 200.0 kW 109.0 m 37-24-15 77-18-55 HD Title &
Artist on Q94 CONTEMPORARY HIT RADIO Q-94
If it were merely Q94 the only hit on 94.5 would be Harlingen TX by
searching the Slogan field. So is there a hyphen in the VA one or not?
Stations should be required to utter ``dash`` or ``hyphen`` if that`s
the case. And look at that power, twice the normal 100 kW limit. How
did they pull that off? Richmond is inland, not on a beach.

1635 DXMAP shows the Es nexus has been over SE Missouri (Glenn Hauser,
