Or one may support this non-commercial public service program via
PayPal not necessarily in US funds, to: woradio at yahoo.com
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 9395, June 7 at 2330, WRMI with make-good of America@250,
second half which did not air before. Good into Knoxville SDR,
wrapping up at 2354.

Richard Langley, NB also reports to the WOR iog on this: ``Acceptable
reception of "America at 250: Due Diligence" on 9395 kHz for the
truncated and full versions on Saturday and Sunday as received here in
NB with indoor equipment. Reception on this frequency gets better as
the signal path gets darker and darker. Excellent program with
co-hosts Steve Herman of VOA fame and sometime contributor to this
group and Bill Bernadoni. Quite a polished program. The website for
the program is
https://radiofreeamerica.media/
Be careful, there is also a "Radio Free America," which is a
right-wing political organization/program, far from being balanced
like Steve Herman's program is. The program is also available as an
Apple podcast:
https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/america-at-250-due-diligence/id1896859376
Coincidentally, today I received my copy of Steve Herman's book
"Behind the Whitehouse Curtain," which I look forward to
reading``(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 15770, June 8 at 1348, WRMI-9 back on air, S4/S6 after
outage since June 6 expecting to resume by today Monday (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** U S A. 15150, June 8 at 1350, S9+20/30 of dead air from WMLK, no
DEJOM (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. There is a sporadic E opening, so I start tuning the caradio
June 8 at 1452 UT. Instead I am getting tropo as far away as Hobbs NM,
and apparent Kansans I don`t normally hear. The tropo map does show a
large red blob over this area.

96.7 at 1452, Metroplex ad, so got to be D/FW:
KTCK-FM 96.7 FLOWER MOUND TX SPORTS SPORTS RADIO 1310 & 96.7, THE
TICKET 26468 90.0 kW 621.0 m 33-26-13 97-29-05 Mono 426A All sports
all the time KTCK The Ticket - Sports //KTCK 1310 381 km/236 stmi

97.3 at 1456, Touchstoneenergy.com ad which is based in Arlington,
Virginia, but then a Kansas ad so:
KKJQ 97.3 GARDEN CITY KS COUNTRY Q 97 FM 33690 100.0 kW 244.0 m
37-46-48 100-27-36 2B62 KKJQ THE DAWG 317 km/197 stmi

91.9 at 1458, Air One in $tereo, // Enid 91.1. But WTFDA has no Air 1
on 91.9; nor spelt Air One, anywhere. And own website
https://www.air1.com/ is NOT helpful in finding stations by frequency,
or anyway?!

104.7 at 1505, ``Kiss FM`` jingle: WTFDA has 3 on 104.7, in Mesa AZ,
Casper WY, but presumably this closest KS one, which is between Dodge
City and Wakeeney on US 283 in west central KS:
KXNC 104.7 NESS CITY KS CONTEMPORARY HIT RADIO KISS 104.7 164131 16.5
kW 273.0 m 38-36-32 99-42-11 291 km/181 stmi

96.3 at 1509, Six Flags ad; there are several such parx, but
presumably The Metroplex one which I already know is in PTA:
KSCS 96.3 FORT WORTH TX COUNTRY NEW COUNTRY 96-3 71201 100.0 kW 507.0
m32-34-54 96-58-33 HD 3FCE KSCS Artist/Title Country 408 km/254 stmi

96.3 at 1514, promo something on 100.7 - a sibling to KSCS?? In The
Metroplex that`s KWRD-FM Highland Village, The Word, religious,
relation unknown

93.9 at 1517, $ Home Depot ad in Spanish, PSA listo.gov, ``Minuto 60
Deportes``, song in English, `Hurt So Bad` lyric over&over. 1525 DJs
in Spanglish, mention Vegas, 1530 Coachella Valley High School. 1600
interruption for alert/emergency msg with tones, weather? No copy.
1604 Spanish is gone.

Maybe above info applies to more than one station! At first I thought
it must be S California, and Spanglish language certainly stands out
if accurate. WTFDA shows English/Spanish for a few 93.9 stations: a
translator in FL, never mind; but also:
KLLI 93.9 LOS ANGELES CA RHYTHMIC CHR CALI 93.9 59987 18.5/16.0 kW
917.0 m 34-13-36 118-03-59 English/Spanish HD 2E32 KLLI Title & Artist
| Cali 93.9 #1 for Reggae y mas Top 40 1865 km/1159 stmi -- and a
co-channel 250-watt booster in Santa Clarita;

93.9 at 1557, DX had faded audiblizing my semi-local The Gospel
Station, KIMY Watonga OK. 86 km/54 stmi

BUT then ALSO, this which I heard last:
93.9 at 1608, Dodge City dentist ad:
KZRD 93.9 DODGE CITY KS Top 40 - SPANISH/ENGLISH LA FIESTA 13010 100.0
kW 186.0 m 37-56-30 100-18-46 English/Spanish 53C1 No Program Type or
Undefined
So was Spanglish heard on 93.9 first, really KLLI by Es, or KZRD all
along?? 243 km/151 stmi

94.1 at 1524, restrixions on when you may water in Hobbs,
HobbsAmerica.com, Z-94, Cloudview Dental, hi temp 100, KZOR jingle;
and at 1555 YL DJ on KZOR with birthday greetings. This finally drives
home I`m in a good tropening from the SW!
KZOR 94.1 HOBBS NM HOT AC Z94 48944 100.0 kW 101.0 m 32-48-59
103-13-56 633 km/393 stmi (Glenn Hauser, Enid OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. Frank Merrill replies to my earlier unID 96.7 classical:
``you may have had a rogue Latino there, or even 2Es? Of course you
couldn't determine its originating bearing on a car radio.

That will forever remain a mystery, just like my Spanish 91.3 from the
DUE southeast in the 1990s when my Macomb IL local WIUM was
temporarily off for some reason. There was no ID'able content in the
BRIEF reception, but I always felt that it was "probably" hyper-power
WIPR from San Juan. Absolutely no other skip in that session.
Single-hop PTA north Florida (Gainesville, Ocala) but there was
nothing that should've been Spanish dialogue, and the path was too
northerly for a Cuban.``

Here in deep North America, think I`ve never had double-hop Es on FM,
mostly oceanic and/or blocked by single-hoppers, but able to get both
coasts on single (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 6930 AM, June 8 at 0528 UT, pirate music S7/S8. Headed
6930 USB, this one turned into AM by now, but they weren`t sure it was
still Stern Radio as earlier:

(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
