** KOREA NORTH [and non]. 13650, June 10 at 1342, two weak stations mixing S4/S6, one in Chinese talk, vs music or sometimes both music. EiBi shows both VOK in Mandarin to SE Asia, and CRI in Mandarin via Urumqi, EAST TURKISTAN, to central Asia: so, Commies vs Commies! Chinese vs Chinese! Way to go!! (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** MADAGASCAR. 21565, June 10 at 1337, JBA carrier is the OSOB. EiBi shows BBC English to Indonesia at 1200-1400 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** MALI. 5995, June 10 at 0635, ORTM is gone again after appearing last night (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** OKLAHOMA. 5140 USB, Wed June 10 at 1402 tune-in, nothing happening, but at 1403, WPFY721, Ernie in Seminole opens the Oklahoma Operations Secure HF Test Net, as apparently this week`s NCS, WSHM692 in Edmond, Breanna was a no-show. But soon we do hear her mixing with WPFY721. And she starts the rollcall. I don`t try to copy all the details, but many of the usual ones. Apparently finished at 1408 after a rather confusing situation (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR) ** TURKEY. 11785, June 9 at 2157, no signal direct from VOT - but at 2159 it`s on, S9/+10, yet insufficient (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. Major sporadic E FM DX opening June 10, already underway when I start at 1615 UT with NC; in several long hot sessions I was not able to monitor continuously, all the way until 0143 UT June 11! It will take quite a while to get this all researched and compiled, so for now just the basix: also at least from VA, MD, PA, NY, OH, MI; French on 95.1, probably North Bay ON rather than Montréal (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) This report dispatched at 0259 UT June 11 _ Hard-Core-DX mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/hard-core-dx http://www.hard-core-dx.com/ _______________________________________________ THE INFORMATION IN THIS ARTICLE IS FREE.
