is still off the air (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)
** OKLAHOMA. 88.1 is a constant struggle between KWOU Woodward and
KMSI Moore/OKC. But at the low end, should be subject to Es DX more
than higher channels, so I keep checking it for overrides. July 17 at
1800, ID for WYES, Yorktown-Hampton, Virginia, but I think among
multi-stations. Yes, per Oasis Network website it`s their WYCS which
is on 91.5. Never mind: it`s only KMSI. There is however a real 88.1
in Hampton VA, WHOV, urban gospel, 2 kW, so beware! (Glenn Hauser, OK,

** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 2356 monitoring: reconfirmed no longer Friday
at 1300 on WRMI 15770, July 17. Missed checking the 2030 on AM Italia
1323.
Next should be 2200 on WRMI 9955, but at 2145 it`s still off the air.
Maybe on 9455 instead as happened before on a different day?

overmodulatedistorted but fortunately not splattering all over the
place as has happened before. Also with the parasitic spurs plus/minus

** U S A. 1090, July 17 at 0635 UT, discussing Hebrew pronunciation,
guessing how YHWH = Yahweh sounded, from RCC POV, big dominant signal
instead of usual lowmix in the nightmiddle. Obviously KDMR Kansas City
with EWTN, U2 5000/500, on ND day power and pattern; night pattern has
a notch to the SSW. Still not hearing what`s left of the degraded KAAY
Little Rock (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 1190, July 17 at 0632 UT, Radio Ley ID amid Mexmx, still
here, always seems in mix, so not too far away. Would not be surprised
if Arkansas, as Tim Hall suggests. At 1457 I bring up the KiwiSDR
closest to NW AR, which is the one in Republic MO, tuned to 1190, and
bingo, Mexmx, steady but noisy signal, unlike 760. 1458 ``La Tremenda,
Radio La Ley`` non-ID by SHVA, more mx, and 1502, another La Ley ID,
NO call-letter ``legal`` ID now, or ever. So it`s the DAYTIMER station
formerly known as KREB, Gentry AR, D1 3000, CH 2300, was C&W as of
last year`s NRC AM Log.
I should have tried this remote in daytime, long before!
Radio-locator.com still has it as ``Red Dirt 100.5``. Daytime ND
coverage map barely reaches Tulsa & Fort Smith, almost to Springfield,
the fringe contour; no website. What does FCC LMS currently have on
it? ``Facility ID 30935, licensee: ROX RADIO GROUP, LLC, 114 HARRISON

nexus just a little too far, nothing heard in bandscans around 1600 &
1630 UT July 17 on the caradio. By 1700 also another nexus close to
overheard, also NG for here! Finally I barely grab a couple:
94.3 at 1701, intro `American in Paris` by NY Phil, YL DJ, not the NYP
broadcast itself. Per WTFDA FMDB, the *only* full-power classical
anywhere; otherwise just a xltr in PA:

** VANUATU. 7260, July 17 at 0648, R. Vanuatu, music and seeming
Bislama talk, S6/S7 a little better signal than usual. We should still
prefer 9960 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
UNIDENTIFIED. 95.1 is a constant struggle here between KICT Wichita,
and Bott Network`s KQCV-FM Shawnee/OKC, usually atop. When Es could be
in play, July 17 at 2045 I hear ad? for Eisenhower Health, in
California, and KCLJ.org mentioned more than once. That site is
forbidden! Evidently not a radio call, as the real KCLJ is on 91.3 in
Clinton OK, no doubt related to KCLI. But E. Health has a number of
locations along I-10 east of Riverside CA, so unless this were really
on a Bott program, the closest 95.1 would also be the strongest in the
state:
