** OKLAHOMA. 100.9, July 27 at 2205 UT, dead air in mono from ``KGWA
FM`` and also on 960 KGWA, but back on by 2206, maybe failed to fire a
commercial, post-TownHall newscast.

27184.60 AM, July 27 at 2255, far-right talkshow is today`s choice for
CB pirate relay, 2357 full ID for K265FL and KGWA; 2300 TownHall
news.

27184.675 approx., July 28 at 1451, JBA music, can`t match to 91.1,
105.5, 100.9, 95.7 as previously relayed by local CB pirate, but maybe
99.9 KVBN-LP which is also on 98.5 translator (Glenn Hauser, Enid,
WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 99.1, July 28 at 1606 UT as I tune across, ID for ``KMAG
99.1, Number One for new country``, overcoming the dominant Kansan.
Licensed to Ft Smith AR, but site is well within OK near Poteau:
https://radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/pat?call=KMAG&service=FM
Originally named for Mount MAGazine in AR, a rather high spot, wonder
why they left it. Used to be my most distant regular FM with my large
antenna.

** OKLAHOMA [non]. 930, re hearing C2CAM on 930 rather than WKY with
sportstalk, I meant to add the listed affils for C2CAM per last year`s
NRC AM Log. From night power and proximity, my first guess would be
WTAD Quincy IL; the others: WKCT Bowling Green KY, WFMD Frederick MD,
KWOC Poplar Bluff MO, KOGA Ogallala NE, WBEN Buffalo NY, KSDN Aberdeen
SD, KEOW Sheridan WY. Own website
https://www.coasttocoastam.com/stations/
makes you click on each state rather than a master list searchable by
frequency even if not in frequency order! (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 15016 USB, July 27 at 2251 numbers in English JBA vs noise
level, also 11175 USB, so USAF crypto copying exercises are running
again. Shoudld also be on 8992 USB and 4724 USB, with different
tactical callsigns each day (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2357 monitoring: confirmed Monday

Many thanks this week to William Hassig, Mt Prospect IL, for a
generous
check on a US bank to:

** U S A. 9455, Mon July 27 at 2302 tune-in, WRMI is introducing three
guests for a talkshow about the American Revolution: Martha Bailes, Dr
Kaitlyn Schindler, Eric Leiner -- guessing at all their spellinges.
Moderator Gordon Dogood, host Carl. This certainly is not RAE as
expected in Portuguese or any other language, rather `America at 250:
Due Diligence`, at a new time. Yes, as now shown on System D grid. No
sign of Steve Herman, except as a co-executive producer in 2356
closing credits, and 2357 ``This is Radio Free America in Washington
DC, signing off, via WRMI``. Total times on sked in case accurate are:
Sat 0000 on 9455, Sun 0000 on 9395 & 5050, Mon 0900 on 7780, Mon 1100
on 15770, Mon 2300 on 9455, Tue 0000 on 5050 & 9455, Tue 0500 on 5850.
Indeed 9455 repeating it immediately at 0000 Tuesday - total of 9
frequency-hours per week (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 7505, July 28 at 0638, WRNO on late again with music
S9+10/30 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 103.9, July 28 at 1620 UT, ad for car washes in Arkansas;
therefore:
KKIX 103.9 FAYETTEVILLE AR COUNTRY KIX 104 48951 100.0 kW 147.0 m
36-01-17 94-13-04 2B4F Kix 104 (Title) (Artist) Country (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** VATICAN. 15595, July 28 at 0635, heavy S9 mixture of two stations -
or rather languages, one of which is French with African? accent, then
the other language stops. Suspect messup at VR where French is sked
0630-0645 M-F, English on Sat (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 1700 kHz, July 28 at 0629 UT, Spanish JBA in HSNL = high
storm noise level. KKLF was Spanish but now supposed to be KTNO ex-620
which was Spanish religious. Maybe finally activated on 1700? Unlikely
XEPE Tecate BCN. But July 28 at 1644 in daytime, Crowley TX SDR in the
Metroplex gets no signal on 1700, but good ones on 1630, 1600, etc.
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 87.7, July 28 at 1601 UT as I start bandscanning for Es
DX, due to a nexus circa the IL/IA border, romantic song in English
but soon fade from some FrankenFM. No further up Es suspects this time
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
