Many thanks this week to John P Lutz, Shorewood IL, N9JL, for a check on a US bank, to: Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702; and says, ``Thanks for your dedication to our hobby. Many people throughout the country (and world) follow you. We're all grateful for your summations of HF and MF activity. Please don't retire.`` 😉 One may also contribute via PayPal, not necessarily in US funds, to woradio at yahoo.com (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. Re 1030 kHz with romantic music in Spanish: ``Glenn, 1030 WONQ has been running day power at night. Blasting into Sarasota. Slogan is “Party FM” with FM in Spanish. Martin Foltz, Sarasota FL`` Oviedo FL, site NE of Orlando. 45/1.7 kW, ND day, favors SW at night, but considerable to NW, null toward NE; But this to the contrary: ``Glenn, I have noticed that WONQ this past week in fact has been missing in the overnight here in the Atlanta area. It seemed to have been on its daytime 45 kW single tower omni signal overnights for the past several months up until last week providing a booming signal here in northern Georgia completely obliterating any signs of WBZ Boston or the religious Wake Forest, NC (another night time cheater) station on 1030 kHz. WONQ 1030 kHz is probably not what you are hearing even though it is in a "Spanglish" format with higher energy dance English/Spanish pop hits format. Thanks, Harry S.
