Spanish audible under KOKP FSR. In IRCA Log, of four low-power
Mexicans, three are of questionable activity. Most likely KMMQ
Plattsmouth NE, U4 50/1.4 kW ``La Mexicana``, rather than KCKN Roswell
NM which is SS:REL, U4 50/50 kW; or maybe KTNQ Los Angeles CA, U4

** ALASKA. 5200, Aug 13 at 0240, rapid pulsing S2/S3, into KFS NW
remote. Presumably HAARP test during publicized period and frequency
range, per tip from Walt Salmaniw, Haida Gwaii. Indistinguishable from
other carriers on H2Ofall, unlike CODAR circa 5400 with diagonal
traces. 5200 cuts off abruptly at 0244*, and not found further
visually or audibly in this or many other possible bands up to 9.6
MHz. Shouldn`t HAARP transmit some kind of clear ID? I vaguely recall
it does have an assigned callsign (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO
2360)

IS, 1459, ``Voice of America, Washington DC, signing on`` and 1500
other music briefly and into Korean. Per Aoki, it`s via Tinang,
PHILIPPINES, M-F at 15-20. 21 degree beam from there carries on well
into deep North America. Now it`s stronger than neighbor 9955 WRMI,
about to close down.
HFCC shows 9950 also from Kuwait at 15-18 daily, 70 degrees in Prs &
Pst, but surely not really both at same time. Prs does *not* stand for
Persian, but Dari, the Afghan dialect; Pst = Pashto. The exhaustive
language list at HFCC shows Persian is abbr`d Fas -- as in Farsi, and
there are five other varieties includng Peo for Old Persian ca.
600-400 BC {sic], which would seem unlikely to be broadcast or spoken
in 2026 CE (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
