5995 kHz nothing noted, nor seen strings in various Perseus-net SDRs

** CUBA. 11760, Aug 27 at 0629, S8/S9 of dead air, the SSOB, no doubt
RHC attempting. By 1416, jazz S9 distorted, past 1430 (Glenn Hauser,

** CUBA. 9790, Aug 27 at 0634, Chinese syllables by YL, in a loop
repeating about every 3 seconds, another failed feed from Beijing, and
typically on air much later than scheduled for CRI relay -0500*.

** OKLAHOMA. 780, Aug 27 at 1448, KSPI Stillwater discussing soccer
game coverage coming up on 105.5 station, at 5 pm from SEC network so
will start at 4:45 = 2145 UT. 780 has some hum, which correlates with
offairness before sunset (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** OKLAHOMA. A new noise source, dirty blobs maybe 40 kHz wide at
intervals of slightly more than 1.0 MHz, pulsing 105 times per minute,
circa MHz: 9.74, 10.77, 11.79, 12.81, 13.83, 14.86, 15.89, 16.91,
17.94, 18.96, 19.99 -- and further above and below, but that`s enough!
COuld be a device flashing a warning, like a clock that needs to be
reset, but nonesuch in my household. Seems to be coming from west side
rather than east. Sure hope it`s temporary (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)

5980 achieves S9 with PMS mod. All have the hi-pitched self-imposed
