CUBA [non]. 13570 & 13720, Sept 1 at 2211, R. Martí with stupid
sportstalk about béisbol, such as ``Medias Blancas`` = White Sox; not
to be confused with calcetines blancos = white socks. Seems RM wastes
an awful lot of time on sportstalk - shouldn`t they be more focused
on undermining The Revolution?? BTW at this hour the 11860 & 11930
were *much* weaker here (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
Nothing heard from Cuba at 23.40 UT, not 5025v, nor 6000, 9710 nor 11760
just NOTHING.
9709.992 flutter signal of CRI Beijing Portuguese from Kashi Kashgar Shufu
Xinjiang province
transmission centr, 500 kW powerhouse there, in far western China near
KGZ / TJK border- instead.
MALI. 5995, Sept 1 circa 0630, no signal from ORTM, no broad noise
either, as also reported by Rodney Johnson: `` MALI. Re ``rough
noise`` 5990-6000 -- Greetings From Minnesota! 5995 kHz 0600z-0615z
Sept 1. The "rough noise" is gone, just noise floor and no carrier.
Either another power blackout, or perhaps the engineers are attempting

center signal, 18.00-00.01 UT, S=9+15dB noted in Perseus SDR net at Detroit
MI state.

U S A. 7730, Sept 1 at 0631, this WRMI is definitely on achieving
JBA of S8/S9; while 7780 is S9+10/20, and not // 7570 S9+15/25 (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)
YES - both, and also 9395 9455 9955 kHz on service at 00.03 UT.

likely ? The Planet in En, S=9+30dB in MI Detroit.

signal noted in Detroit remotedly. At 00.04 UT, schedule request 13.00-01.30

Today I heard RRI English at 00:00 UT on the frequency 11620 kHz (TIGanesti,
S=9+10)
in Detroit MI remotedly;
I was then surprised to hear an S=8 signal of the same English program on
11970 kHz
{which was Bacau Galbeni site outlet undoubtedly - } as well.
Did the technician at the Bacau/Galbeni summer party taken - have a bit too
much -
good Romanian wine?
And forget to switch the transmission to the 280-degree beam for the
Romanian
service on different frq ?
In any case, the Romanian broadcast from Galbeni on 11800 or 11845 kHz was
not
on air on Sept 2nd.
USAGM Radio Marti Spanish service from Greenville NC state at 00.28 UT Sept
2:
11930.000 kHz only poor S=7 short distance skip signal, to Detroit MI SDR
unit remotedly.
Also 13570.006 kHz slight odd frq S=6 flutter signal, and
13720.000 kHz even frq signal, and much stronger S=8-9 sidelobe antenna
signal.
15500even and 17715.009 kHz ESP The only two Spanish outlets of Noblejas
site
at 00.34 and 00.40 UT.
17675 kHz much poor S=6 signal of NZL R NZ Pacific Rangitaiki signal at
00.38 UT.
