hour, frequency and distance, WWV is too close to propagate. Hurricane
knocked out power all over Kauai, one report said 95%. But WWVH
apparently kept ticking.

any trace of ORTModulation when rn be running, lending credence to
assumption it be the ORTM transmitter itself malfunxioning. Other

hearing on 5995 kHz at 2020 UTC (7 sept 2026) or is it Radio Mali with
heavy modulation problems? Last night Radio Mali was strong with

Don Moman, VE6JY, at 0606 UT Sept 9: ``The "rough noise" is from
5992.5 to 5997.8. There is no carrier. I see no digital/data
content.``

on after missing for 6 days, in time for French on Tuesdays at 2200,

** SPAIN. 15500, Wed Sept 9 at 2159, REE is indeed still on for weekly
token English to N America, S9+20/30 direct, also on weaker 15520,
weakest 17715, and infinitely weak on 15390 and all other frequencies.
Intro as with Alba and Daniel, but we never hear the voice of Alba
Cu?llar. I`m sure Daniel is a fine fellow and broadcaster, and I would
not want him to lose his job, but I can`t imagine a serious
international broadcaster such as VOA employing a Spanish announcer
with an extremely heavy English accent. I wish Daniel would make an
effort to improve his accent to go with his clear fluency. I guess
this result from book-learning, rather than listening to native
speakers. Anyhow, musical bed with talk over it:
2200 accurate timesignal, ID, claims to be ``live``, like it would
have been at 10 UT, previews: F?rmula One racing Grand Prix coming to
Madrid; also a literary festival; human-induced climate change.
2202.5 summary of news of the week: consequences of Ceuta crisis. Oppo
says Pres. S?nchez will get beat in upcoming elexion. Intelligence
report on Ceuta is being released, nothing to hide. Morocco suggests
it should take over control of Ceuta y Melilla. Spain asserts shall
remain Spanish for all time. Government accused of lying, coverup.
Blaming Morocco? S?nchez branded a traitor. Demonstrations in cities
across Spain supporting Ceuta.

3975, S7 JBA trace of me into recommended DL7APJ remote, after no
audible signal into UTwente but JBA carrier on 3974.996, nor into
Carlow, Ireland SDR. Propagation really pitiful. By this hour, of
course, 6160 occupied by the Chicom. Anyhow, from next week, Sept 15,
Tuesday airing of WOR will be at 1531 on 6160.
Also confirmed UT Wednesday September 9 at 0030 on WRMI 9395, S8/9+10
with storm crashes into Georgia SDR.
Also confirmed Wednesday September 9 from 1930.7 on SW Radio Gold,
Germany, 6160.000+, S9+10 with RTTYditty on plus side as usual; and
3974.999+, S9+10, both into UTwente. This is the only WOR airtime on
SWRG that will not change next week.
Also confirmed Wednesday September 9 at 2330 on WRMI 9395, S9+35 into

radio war is no obstacle now. I guess Y.R. became a thing only

try the WTFDA FM DB, and get not a single hit on yacht as a format or

Noise level conditions ever so slightly improving, audiblizing more
carriers, but too weak to copy. RNA list reminds of two logged before:
JYR, 25 watts at York NE, last logged Jan 27, 2026; and FWC, 25 watts
at Fairfield IL, last logged March 18, 2026. 293 continues to bear FBY
FairBurY NE, but must be alert for CCI from qUIncy IL or TORrington WY
