This week Nabire 7290kHz weak but audible, CNR (T) 4750kHz heard for the first
time with weak signal and VOI on 4755kHz.

** 3945kHz, R. Vanuatu, Empten Lagoon, VUT; 13/Sep/2026, 0903-0909, male choral
music. 33333, SNR = 11dB (LOB).
** 4750kHz, CNR 1 (T), Hailar, CHN; 13/Sep/2026, 0918-0923, YL, OM (MM listed
and it seems that is what was heard). Very poor, 15221, SNR = 02dB (LOB).
** 4755kHz, Voice of Indonesia, Jakarta, INS; 06/Sep/2026, 2247-2300, OM (JJ
listed), music, 2258 OM, 2300 sign off. Improving as the listening progresses,
25333, SNR = 9dB (LOB).
** 08/Sep/2026, 2248-2256, OM (JJ listed), music selections. Improving as the
listening progresses, abrupt s/off at 2256, 25333, SNR = 09dB (LOB).

** MALI. 5995, Sept 13 at 0556, ORTM S9+15/25 direct with music, good
modulation. Rodney Johnson also reports: ``Greetings From Minnesota!
Good to hear the ORTM Engineers got it running again! I logged them
tonight, (Sept. 13) but the transmission abruptly cut at 0625z, so it
seems they still have a bit of work to do:
5995 kHz 0548 13 SEP 2026 - RADIO MALI (MALI). SINPO = 55233. ?African
Language?, French. Crash start at 0548z with music and occasional IDs.
0550z male proclaims: "Radio Nationale du Mali". Indigenous music
continues. More IDs in different languages by males and females. 0600z
music stops, rooster crows, then male and female announcers alternate
presumably news stories or headlines until 0602z, then more music and
rooster crows. 0623z female announcer speaks in French (but with heavy
African accent). 0625z transmission abruptly cut out. West gutter
antenna w/MFJ-1020C active antenna (used as a
preamplifier/preselector), JRC NRD-535D. 50 kW, Omni, bearing 84?.
Received at Plymouth, MN, United States, 8654 km from transmitter in
Bamako (12?41'N,8?01'W). Local time: 0048. 73s --Rodney

** NEW ZEALAND. 11725, Sept 13 at 0609, RNZP VG with news? in English,
and *also* on 13690 which is ahead by about one second and only S5/S8.
Not // 9915 BBC as heard on weekdays, but this is Sunday. RNZ National
program sked does not show BBC relay at ``6 PM`` any day! I do notice
a `Midweek Mediawatch` listed for Wed at 8:30 PM = 0830 UT. After
0700, heard on 9700 only. How to Listen sked shows 13690 to 9700 at
0658-0659 daily; with 11725 ONLY at 1859-1958 daily, so testing it

** SPAIN. 15500, Sat Sept 12 at 2220, REE N American channel is OFF
again; weaker 15520 for ME and much weaker 17715 for SAm are audible.
On Saturdays all are supposed to run until 2300*. Don`t know whether

** TURKEY. 11785, Sat Sept 12 at 2220, no signal direct from VOT
English for us; nor into UTwente at 2229 check, nor into Maryland SDR.

S9+20/30 into UTwente, news; 1640 novelty children`s song, 1643
another song. 1647 `Letterbox` starts with Cemre. 1) Chakraborty, New
Delhi heard program about Palestine agriculture; sending QSL and
stamps. 2) Mr Bain?, SWL club in India (1651 tonal QRM for about a
minute), low rent housing developments. He listened via Neth remote.
3) Mr Kenneth Austin, upstate NY, heard 9750, 11785, enjoys SW for
armchair traveling. 4) A Klepov Moscow, QSL for Sept. 5) Mr
Najaradeen? India. 6) Papajarjee, W Bengal, 12 questions about
literacy, such as is Int`l Lit Day celebrated 8 Sept, what is rate in
T? 97% and growing; digital literacy inseparable from other literacy.

** U S A [and non]. NDB bandscan despite HSNL storms near Enid, finds
many JBA carriers too weak to definitely ID, but based on experience
they are likely: 257 JYR, 338 RYN/TU, 341 DNI, 346 YXL, 379 RU, 385
HO, 392 FMZ, 414 GRN, 419 GB. Did copy an ID on 400 for AHQ, 25 watts
at Wahoo NE. Here I`ve skipped several regulars, like 255 SW, 326 MA,
332 IC, 404 HU, 407 HRU (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2364 monitoring: confirmed Saturday
September 12 at 1600 on WRN via WRMIs: 7730, S9+5, axually stronger
than // 9395, noisy S5/S6, both into Citrus County FL SDR. Most other
remotes, closer and further, get 7730 as JBA/JBAC, much weaker than
9395.
Also confirmed Saturday September 12 at 1930 on WRN via WRMI 9395,
S9+30 into Georgia SDR.
Also confirmed Saturday September 12 at 1930 on SW Radio Gold,
Germany, 6160.000- S9+10 with RTTYditty on plus side, and 3974.999-,
S9/+10 both into UTwente. From next week, single Saturday airing at
2231 on 3975.
Not confirmable Sat Sept 12 the 1930v on WA0RCR, 1860 AM, MO, not
enough daytime signal vs noise into nearest remotes, but reliable, so
probably.

very weak talk direct; into UTwente S8/9+15, discussion of Zechariah
with Britty accents, seems like World`s Last Chance again, but no ID
for that heard yet. I have checked 9330 day and night for months in

``Good Morning, Richard. Was rather surprised when I checked for 9330
reception, that I had to check many remotes before I got any kind of
reception. Most remotes had no hint of WBCQ reception! Ron``
Ron Howard`s clip has a definite WBCQ ID, and World`s Last Chance.
This is not the huge 500 kW signal we used to have on 9330. Powered
down, even one of their other little transmitters? JBA carrier direct
at 1436 Sept 13, or just propagation? It may also remain possible this
not really be WBCQ Monticello. IIRC, previously, such IDs went out
even when WLCR was relayed somewhere else.
Latest A26 HFCC dated Sept 11 shows WBCQ/WLCR still registered 24h on
9330 from Monticello, on a variety of azimuths but at 05-09 270
degrees due west! in English only 250 kW; other blox in Portuguese,
Spanish, Arabic, German, to various azimuths and CIRAFs, some 250,
some 500 kW (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
