New wrinkle. I finally read my manual, held my breath and tried to start journaling. I noticed that you can only put a very few options on one line or it gets upset with you and says there are too many parameters. It doesn't seem to be a 255 character limit that does it. I probably had something wrong in the syntax. Anyway, when I finally got something GTM was willing to accept, I got what is below.
I have never done anything with the journaling of this file, but I presume maybe someone must have done it when it was in Cache? Or maybe it is because my computer hung and I didn't exit gracefully from GTM as I had to SSH in and do a shutdown now? I started GTM and halted it before I ran this. The message and recovery manual really didn't add anything to the error message that is already below. So, is there a way to enable journaling, or not?
