If you have the patch already installed on a system,
then the following menu tree will produce a "host file system" version of the
patch that you can ftp around and install using the KIDS build options of
VISTA. Option "1" on the installation menu.
Select Systems Manager Menu
Option: PROGrammer Options
Select Programmer Options Option: KIDS Kernel Installation & Distribution System
Select Kernel Installation & Distribution System Option: EDITS and Distribution
Select Edits and Distribution Option: TRANSport a Distribution
Enter the Package Names to be transported. The order in which
they are entered will be the order in which they are installed.
First Package Name: XU*8.0*275 KERNEL KERNEL
Another Package Name:
ORDER PACKAGE
1 XU*8.0*275
OK to continue? NO// YES
Transport through (HF)Host File or (PM)PackMan: HF Host File
Enter a Host File: C:\TEMP\XU_80_275.KID
Header Comment: HOST FILE OUTPUT
XU*8.0*275...
