Greetings,

Why not open the RTF files in a word processor, then save them as text files?

Steve

To All,
I down loaded and looked over the ICD-9 files available on the CDC ftp
server. They are all RTF documents with headers and formating that
prevents easy parsing to a data file.
Anyone have any script to break out the data or places for me to start.
I enjoy a challenge & will figure out how to parse it if possible. A
starting point would be helpful
