I was traveling earlier this week without the ability to post to the
hardhats list. However, I replied privately to Prof. Giere, since I had
(limited) e-mail access from my Blackberry in Europe.
Essentially, he will need to:
* Extract the data from his database (one command, mupip extract)
* Increase the record size in the global directory with GDE (3
commands, one to invoke GDE, one to make the change, one to exit
GDE)
* Delete the current database file (one command, rm)
* Create a new database file (1 command, mupip create)
* Load the extract (1 command, mupip load)
