I agree with Fil. I have used Epi-Info.... or at least run it. It was so long ago that I don't remember much about it... except that Nothing I've used gives me the control over my data that FileMan provides. I ran my medical practice with many new files and fields grafted onto the IHS PRCR... (or whatever we call it; excuse the oldtime's). I made many mistakes, but the data came in and out, and we could fix the mistakes. A database for a single research project is not a fork from the VistA hospital information system.
If diamond is not available, I would install openvista semiviva 0.4 and ignore most of that, keep to a name/numberspace, and draw upon the rest when it suits the task. jlz Healthcare, a human right. ---------- Original Message ----------- From: "Beza, Fil" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sun, 5 Dec 2004 21:41:35 -0600 Subject: RE: [Hardhats-members] Need Help Using VistA to Track Patient Demographics For a Clincal Study > It has been ages since I used Epi-Info.
