May I suggest [technology review] in the subject line starting now (breaking
the first taboo of using short, meaningless names  - sorry Joseph - insider
joke ;-)

Since the this thread started out by Robert wanting to demonstrate how Cache
objects are used to access data, why don't we turn this over to him. Lets
organize this a little where we start with the VistA data (to start with, at
the ^DPT global level). I would suggest publishing a snippet of code that
shows how a data element is access in ^DPT, say the patient name, along with
an explanation. Then,  let it flow from there!
