So that means that I must invoke the routine/option
only from the nurse's menu? Just to be sure, I did that again using the options
below.

When you invoke an
option directly from Menu Manager it is not being handled by TaskMan so you
won’t see any entry in TaskMan. Since you have no entry in the NURS
PARAMETER file (the “DATE” node was set directly by the routine in the option
you’re invoking) a lot of things probably won’t work right.

The NURS PARAMETER file 213.9 does
not have any entries in it. Though the global ^DIC(213.9,1,"DATE") =
^0^0^0^^0^0^0^0^0^0^0^1. Forcing the last digit to 0, I can now begin the
Nursing Acuity/Separation-Activation Run option, but it seems to be hanging
yet again.

The option was
running when the system was shutdown, but when the system was restarted
there was nothing to tell TaskMan to restart the job. The option
checks for the ACUITY TASK NUMBER in the NURS PARAMETER file 213.9 … you’ll
find that there is a now out of date task number in that field. Delete
it and you should be able to restart the option … note that it’s usually
scheduled to run rather than invoked directly from menu
management.

While trying to work with the
nursing module i had to run the
NURAAM-ACU (Nursing
Acuity/Separation-Activation Run) option. When i try the option this is

When I tried to run this option
yesterday, my system was hanging. I had to then forcefully stop the
execution using 'Ctrl Z'. when we did the rundown things were fine. And
so was the startup today morning!
I understand that
the job is possibly
errored out before completion.
I first thought that these
problems may be with the way we've worked around with a particular module,
but it transcends a module.

Prescription file) and "All Location Dispense/Purge" (To collect
dispensing information automatically for all automatic
Replenishment of ward stock, Unit Dose, IV, Outpatient Drugs that are

should only be done for either one of the
following:
1. The "All Location
Dispense/Purge", [PSA IV ALL LOCATIONS] nightly back-
ground option has failed to run.
2. New drugs have been added
to a pharmacy location, and you would like to see the
dispensing activity that has occurred for up to the last sixty
days.
Each time this option is
executed, the balances are updated in the MONTHLY ACTIVITY multiple
within the DRUG ACCOUNTABILITY STATS file (#58.8).
The proram will continue to
add or subtract the dispensed amount each time the option is
used.
