Kevin,

Don't you think it is quite normal to get a state information by typing in the abbreviation? My understanding was that when you have a cross reference it will automatically get the data by checking the IEN number that is associated with the cross-referenced field and then display it. Am I wrong?

e.g: ^DIC(5,"C","MA",25)=""

Does this not mean that when I type "MA", it gets the IEN numbers as 25 and would display the information related to that state?

Thanks,
Madhavi

Subject: [Hardhats-members] Were is default office stored?
Date: Thu, 16 Jun 2005 13:16:40 -0700 (PDT)

I remember finding this at one point, but I can't now.
Where is the information that specifies the default
office (HOSPITAL LOCATION) for a physician/provider?

I have looked in the data dictionary, and cant find
any pointer to the HOSPITAL LOCATION file from the NEW
PERSON file.

Thanks
Kevin
