HTML pages and pages with links are rejected because they make the site 
vulnerable to hacks/spam.  I think you should probably stick with the mailing 
list for questions like this, although, a FAQ page would not be a bad idea. 
Searching the archives is very valuable and finding out what people are 
having trouble with allows everyone to chip in to solve these problems.   You 
will probably need to cut and paste plain text if you want it to work.  I 
have not tried cut and paste, however, so I may be all wet. 

For exceptional posts that we are all anxious to have on the site, the 
administrator can put them up, but the administrator is busier than a one 
armed wall paper hanger right now, so I would advise against asking!
