residential cable restricting your rights to run a server on your ip
address.

I pointed out that in a commercial context it's irrelevent, because
the commercial Terms Of Service (TOS) I've seen don't have any such
restriction, and if a residential account is being used in a
commercial context, THAT's the problem.

I've seen it before when cheap people try to be "smart" and get over on the ISP.

Sum it up as:  "Stolen tools have bad karma."
