I do not think it is of minor interest because this group, while it does not represent those with real understanding of the details of applying informatics standards to US healthcare they will be a major influence how the Supplier (read commercial/industrial) organizations apply ALL informatics standards to the marketplace. Major health professional discipline organizations (except for AAFP) are not well represented and that needs to be dealt with in some fashion. For the VistA/VOE Community it means working with AAFP to get the full range of implications of not only VistA but other products clealry and broadly understood. Such understanding will need a wide range of efforts.
