I know this sounds like old news, and I realize SOAP has been
reasonably criticized for being excessively "chatty", but my sense is
that it is gaining momentum, and that CORBA is rapidly becoming the
"old news" of component technology. It would be a shame to simply
ignore this method of building interfaces.
