http://tinyurl.com/738jk contains a (draft) specification for what I now consider to be the best way to lay out environments and directories for VistA/GT.M. What I did before was simpler, but not suitable for large scale development by many people, such as the Greenbelt meeting.
I plan to configure the community development machine used for the Greenbelt machine this way, but would like to invite comments before I take the plunge because reconfiguring directories takes work. Also, I plan to organize future VivA, VivitA and SemiVivA packages along these lines. Please don't modify the Wiki page. Let's have a discussion, and then I will modify the Wiki.
