Interestingly, a lot of the internals of AutoHotKey operate more like M than any other programming environment I've run into!  For example, no need to type variables before use.  And, comparison of variables is handled similarly.

AutoHotkey is slightly harder to understand the usage, syntax, invocation, etc, than some other macro programs.  But, the power and features are completely impressive!  It seems to have a small footprint... I've had other macro systems seemingly slow down my system.  It allows compilation of macro scripts into exe's installable on any computer, even if not running AutoHotKey.  There is a feature to allow quick creation of simple GUI windows.  Etc, etc.
