Leon, here is a list of links that I meant to send you yesterday. Look at the KDTOP3 site http://www.geocities.com/kdtop3/ and look at the section by Tom Kroeger called Post Install Notes, and I bet there is something on the wiki as well.
You need to register your patient first and I believe the menu is REGISTER A PATIENT or DG REGISTER PATIENT. Your registering person will either need fairly liberal priviledges, I think programmer will do, or you can find out what KEYS they need with the ALL THE KEYS option after you give the person DG REGISTER PATIENT as a Menu in the new person file. Some useful links: The VA has posted some great training at http://www.va.gov/vehu/ VA VistA documentation is at http://www.va.gov/vdl . The VA ftp site is ftp.va.gov/VistA WorldVistA has meetings and the VVSO will be having training online and meetings. The VistA-Vendor support organization site is not really up and running yet but will be getting much better at http://www.WorldVistA.org/vvso . The WorldVistA web site at http://www.WorldVistA.org WorldVistA is a nonprofit organization https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/hardhats-members is the technical mailing list where most of the community hangs out. The archives of that are searchable and are a goldmine the wiki for WorldVistA is at http://openforum.worldvista.org/~forum with install instructions for Linux/GTM There is additional information at http:\\www.geocities.com\lktop3\ about installation The Hardhats web site is at http://www.hardhats.org and the scratch install instructions for Cache at http://www.hardhats.org/projects/PROJECTSmain.html The VA has extensive documentation of VistA at http://www.va.gov/vdl some other information and a demo of CPRS at http://www.va.gov/vista The FOIA software download site for the va is ftp.va.gov/vista The Iowa Foundation for Medical Care is at www.ifmc.org and are handling the initial distribution of VO Cache folks are at www.Intersystems.com where you can download a single user version of Cache for evaluation. GT.M is at www.sourceforge.net search on GT.M be sure to include the period OpenVistA on GT.M/Linux downloads are at Sourceforge search on WorldVistA Many of the Vendors have banded together into the VistA Software Alliance at www.vistasoftware.org The Hui web site is at www.PacificHui.org and look there at www.PacificHui.org/OpenVistA for some documentation that applies to the older version of OpenVistA but may well be helpful anyway. It closed patient selection form plus the main form. My question: how to add a new patient to the new database? Seems I could not get the main form. Is there a place I need configure with the FileMan? Thanks, LZ _________________________________________________________________ Dont just search. Find.
