If CPRS-R is being revived, what is the usability state of the current CPRS-R Java code? Is the existing code going to merely be extended or is it going to be wholly or partially replaced? Would it be a reasonable thing at this time to use the existing CPRS-R code as a client that we could extend with our own Java code specific to the needs of the small-office or clinic workflow?
One other thing, what is the relation of CPRS-R to VistaLink? Does CPRS-R require a J2EE server on the backend? -----Original Message----- Cameron Schlehuber Thu, 06 Apr 2006 20:08:02 -0700 CPRS-R is being brought back up to speed budget-wise. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of J. Is CPRS-R (the Java front end) officially out of production? On Wed, 25 Jan 2006, Nancy Anthracite wrote that the "CPRS-R project was suspended because of cuts in the VA IT budget." Is this how things still officially stand with this project? (Someone at our company downloaded the CPRS-R Java code, which appears to wrap the Delphi CPRS client, and was interested to know if it is a possible alternative platform for developing an extended, office workflow-friendly Vista front end without having to reinvent too much.) ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
