Is there any way to format the output of Fileman's inquiry?
It seems to throw fields out willy nilly. Sometimes arranged into nicely formatted double columns, but often not (depending on the length of the contained data for a given field). And does anyone know the wrapping formula? Does it go top to bottom on column 1, then wrap to column 2? I think not. And it seems that when it pops from left to right columns, if a field it actually a subfield, it doesn't show this. And sometimes the order of the fields displayed doesn't seem to be in numerical order of the field numbers. And I can't figure out the indenting. On the left hand column, there is some alternating indenting at times. I can't tell if this is to indicate subfields or not. But on the left-hand column there is no indenting.
