It's interesting that I work on AHLTA and I haven't seen any information on the DOD adopting the VA system. There has been talk of it going a couple of different ways but nothing official. We are still working on the requirements for what we want, and we are not supposed to write requirements so that one product will win out. However, this is a political issue so it wouldn't surprise me.
