Im having the reverse..definitely faster for me..

You find 10 faster to boot and snappier than Win 7?  That's completely 
the opposite of what I've found.  The laptop I upgraded myself is 
definitely lethargic (there is a hesitation after every click) and I've 
seen two PCs where the owners wanted them rolled back to 7 because of 
how much slower they had gotten.

Perhaps a fresh install might be faster, but I haven't had time to test 
that yet.

I would expect games to be faster due to the new DirectX, but 
unfortunately I don't have much time to game any more.
