Things you would expect a fast SSD to make a huge difference on .... like video editing, surprisingly it doesn't make a difference. In fact, it turns out the SSDs are not really suited for video editing because of the constant small read writes...or so I have read. However, it has also been my own experience. While I have a huge RAM drive to edit from when editing big HD files I find things are easier to work with using a Raptor... odd but true.
Do you really notice a difference between EVO and PRO. I can see a
benchmark difference, and while I am sure it would matter if you had
multiple simultaneous hits on a PRO .. like from multiple users...but
do you really think the average laptop user is going to experience a
difference?
