I am guessing your 2TB drive was bootable with Win7 on it. That means it had a tiny partition in front of the big partition. After switching to GPT 4TB I would create a second small 100MB (whatever the original had) active partition in front of your big partition and then boot off the Win 7 CD and attempt a boot sector repair.
