1. Make sure hosting company has Frontpage extensions enabled for your site.
as I wrote, I can log in with the same version of Frontpage from another computer. The site is fine. It is something to do with the install on this particular computer.
2. If all else fails ask them to temporarily change permissions on your site to 777.
