You can buy the OEM edition with parts that you buy from Newegg or
anybody else. As was mentioned, you can buy a screw and get XP OEM...

Most Full versions of operating systems are double or more the price of
OEM versions. Is there a message here to people to not build there own
computers, but buy from an OEM? Any OEM built computer qualifies for the
OEM price which is half or less the Full price.
