Yeah, I guess if I wanted to go to all that trouble, but fortunately it turned out that if I used RCA video cable, instead of S Video, the problem disappeared. And considering it is a VHS recording to begin with, I'm not losing any quality not using the S-video. Besides I only have four tapes to transfer.
