Understand "no local" w/free AVG. I'll try and get the installed modem 
working.  Really didn't want to but will ... :)

System Restore Disk. Ha! Ha! What's that?  All I got was a box!
I may play with some of the Dell tools and see what happens.
Or, do you mean a WinME Restore Disk?  I'll see if I can create one.
Not even sure the fdd even works, yet.
