One reason we went with GTS is that GTX would have put us into a larger PS, 900w I think? This would also mean that air cooling probably wouldn't have been adequate. When we added up the increased price from GTS to GTX (x2 due to sli), the larger PS and adding liquid cooling, the relatively small increase in performance was mitigated by the very significant increase in cost.
Still have headroom for overclocking the vid cards?
