I have a guy that got a system, with what appears to be, a ripped copy of XP.
Looks like he got hit with WGA. When the system boots it informs him it is not genuine and advises it will not be eligible for updates. In the task bar a light purple star looking icon resides with the same information. Is it possible to get him legit without reinstalling? If so, how? I cannot confirm if this OS is legit or not but a 'friend' built it for him. Thanks. -- Regards, joeuser - Still looking for the 'any' key...
