I think that's a bad call. You're needing to feed a dual core chip, so
you'll want as much memory performance as you can get. Granted, the C2D
doesn't have the memory requirements of the Netburst...still,it took
DDR2-667 to finally become roughly equivalent to DDR-400 in overall
performance. I'd never, ever spec a C2D system with anything less than
JEDEC-standard PC6400. Indeed, I went for PC8500 (Corsair Dominator) in this
machine. You're spending a good chunk of money on an overall very nice
machine, why would you skimp on the memory?
