Well, just to be painfully clear, SIIG <> Silicon Image, but SIIG does tend to use Silicon Image ICs.

At least they worked in pairs ;) The generic Silicon Image SATA controllers are great though - shoved in 4x 4-port controllers ($19.99 cheapie generics) and they seem to be running just fine together.
