Thanks for the link. Password is not the issue. I know what the admin pw
is. I set it in 1998 and have never changed it since. Until the router
answers an http call and then asks me for the admin pw, I can go no
further, yet! At least this is how I read the docs.
I have the same process in the technical docs I have collected over the
years for the rt314. If the sniffer and angry-scan are not helpful, I
might try to "re-flash" the rom file via the telnet interface. But, even
the telnet process needs to know the ip addy of the router! I still have
backups of both the current rom and the default (RFD) rom. It is a known
Catch-22 for the rt-314. No ip addy, deep yogurt, or, little blue
brick! I am playing with the 'brick" ATM....... LOL!
