I'll keep that in mind for next time. I get over to their house. I first run Stinger, it finds about 7 trojans and a worm. I then run the MS Malicious Software tool. It found 13 things - trojans, downloaders, and worms. At this point (4 hours later), I suggested a nuke and pave. They agreed.
