I got them from eComElectronics. http://www.ecomelectronics.com/
These are the ones (x4) I'm using on my computer room UPS: http://www.ecomelectronics.com/prodinfo.phtml?id=2140355 The storefront sucks, and make sure you follow-up by e-mail if you need to confirm the terminal, but my brother and I both use them as our go-to source for VRLA batteries. They also sell a lot of their inventory on ebay if you feel better going that route. Last but not least, make sure you put a fuse or circuit breaker rated for the full DC voltage (last thing you want is a breaker that can't extinguish the arc in an emergency) in-line if you're building your own pack. These things can easily melt and burn even good 4awg cable w/o protection. -----Original Message----- From: Hardware [mailto:hardware-boun...@lists.hardwaregroup.com] On Behalf Of Winterlight Sent: Wednesday, July 23, 2014 5:52 PM To: hardware@hardwaregroup.com Subject: [H] Greg>>large sealed battery Greg, I remember you posted this but I can't remember. Where was it that you purchased your car size 12 volt sealed batteries for UPS. Thanks w
