You're limited to what the PC can see, it is "seeing" a PATA drive, so
unless it supports PATA drives of 1TB it won't see the entire drive.  It's
fun running converters.  I've put an mSATA > SATA > PATA setup before for
giggles.  It worked, but limited by the PATA architecture.
